How Talleyho Studio Got It's Name
We must travel back in time to 1988. I had a traumatic accident that nearly cost me my life. The date was 8/8/1988. I was struck by lightning, my best friend died at the scene. I was airlifted to a critical care hospital where I spent 3 days in ICU fighting for my life. I nearly had my legs amputated due to severe swelling, I had third degree burns on my legs from the lightening exiting my body. Seven days later I was released with a long road to recovery. To this day I have nerve damage in my legs and arthritis so bad at times it’s hard to walk. What does this have to do with the name of my studio? Well, I believe everything happens for a reason. I believe that God has a plan for everyone. From a very young age I had always loved horses and we couldn’t afford to have one. I rode friends’ horses, worked on a horse farm all the while so wanting one of my own. It wasn’t until my twenties that I had the opportunity to get my own horse. I went to see her and had a friend ride her for me and right off the bat she said you’d like her. She was a young retired racehorse with some famous names in her pedigree including Native Dancer and Bold Ruler. It wasn’t her pedigree that I was drawn to, it was something in her eyes. When I got her papers, I realized she was born the same year I was struck by lightening. It was as if she was born to someday be part of my life. I got her in 1994 and had her until 2011. We had a bond that I never have had with any other horse and losing her was like losing a part of my family. I have not had a horse since her and I doubt I will get another one. I love horses, I love to ride but they just can’t compare to Talley. She was irreplaceable.
Talleyho (1988-2011)
Having Talley in my life taught me that dreams can come true and that life has a purpose. We may not understand it, we may question it. I learned that we need to embrace life, live it as if tomorrow may not come. We don’t know how long we will be here; we don’t know how long loved ones will be in our life. It is that philosophy which I keep close to my heart. It is that emotion, that passion I continue to explore and create new works of art.

“Real Art. Real Emotion. Digitally Created.”
Graphic Designer, Digital Artist and Photographer
Art is my way of exploring the connections that unite people, animals, and the natural world. I create to preserve emotion, tell stories without words, and transform fleeting moments into lasting imagery. My work is original and hand-crafted, never text to AI-generated. I will use digital tools such as Blender, Daz Studio, Topaz Studio, Adobe Photoshop and Topaz Photo AI to enhance lighting, texture, and depth, blending technical skill with heartfelt creativity. Each digital art creation becomes a space where imagination feels real and emotion takes form.
